This was the original blog post from about a month ago. Since then, a dozen or so classrooms around America and Canada took part in this project and the wonderful artifacts are starting to roll in. I will share them as they come in by attaching them to this post. The initial goal of the project was to start to capture, focus on, and remember the special moments or the average moments that may not stand out but are worth remembering. There has been an overwhelmingly positive response and many of the participants are continuing this for the remainder of the school year.

Regardless of the students we teach, their age, abilities, demographic, etc., we all have a story to tell, a story to share, and a story worth remembering. The best part of this project by far was the smiles on the faces of the teachers as they turned these in to me, so eager to share their finished product.

The pride on their faces and the love they reflect for what they do and the students they work with is beyond words.

Here is to the moments we captured and the stories those moments created. Here is #projectmoment.
